Deviation Actions
I'm not entirely sure, but I think I've added most of the stuff I want to have in my engine now, and I think there's just optimization, enemies and some interface I will have to add now before I consider the engine done. I have kind of started a game even though my focus has been the engine, but I'm not entirely sure were I'm going with it yet. The idea is a fast paced, unforgiving, sci-fi sidescrolling shooter, kind of in the style of Hotline:Miami. The horror game has kind of been pushed back, because I'm having so much fun making a more fast paced game, but its still in my list of to-do stuff
These are the updates I remember since the last update (I've done a lot, but I don't think I remember all):
-Light engine
-Portal gun
-Customizable buttons for interface
-Customizable sliders for interface
-Light editor
-Pause menu
-Bullets that kill you
-Jetpack
-New textures
-Support for animation
-Textboxes
-Text editor (something that takes a lot more work to add than it should take!)
-Saving and loading of maps in-game
-Some small changes for particles
-Bug fixes
-Some minor optimizations

New update on my game engine
I haven't been extremely efficient, but I've still added quite a bit to it since my last update. The update includes:
-Dying with blood splatter
-Collision detection if the collided object is bigger than a tile
-Ball physics
-Customizable particles
-Motion trail
-Shooting
-Recoil from shooting
-Three types of grenades
-A way to customize grenades
-Improved jumping physics
-More solid code

What is up with me!
Weeeeell... I am working on my horror game, althoug progress is extremely slow, the reason being I have lots of stuff to do in school. I have not uploaded any new screens or videos from the game, simply because there is nothing new to see. I'm working on a new and better engine to make the game in, and therefore there is nothing really interesting to see yet. I will be uploading a new video once I've done some more work on the engine though.
Also, I've suddenly started drawing a lot again, which is nice.
